Luleå Business Agency, LNAB, is owned by the local private enterprises and Luleå municipality.
Approximately 175 companies are represented with approximately 40% of all employees within the private business community in Luleå.
LNAB has a secretariat with four employees and the board consists of 10 people in total (6 from the business community and 4 from Luleå municipality).
The company coordinates the resources of the local enterprises, Luleå municipality and Luleå Technical University in order to create conditions for an accelerated enterprise growth in Luleå.

Pro Barents skal være et ledende selskap innen utvikling og kommersialisering av nye forretningsmuligheter som følge av olje- og gassbransjens aktiviteter i Barentsregionen.
Pro Barents skal være et regionalt utviklingsselskap for Barentsregionen. Selskapet skal utvikle og realisere forretningsideer eller infrastruktur for næringslivet i regionen. Selskapet skal være et virkemiddel for gjennomføring av eiernes ambisjoner i Barentsregionen. Kontakten med eiermiljøene skal bidra til at idetilfang, kompetanse og gjennomføringsevne tilsvarer ambisjonsnivået i selskapet.
Prioriterte områder vil blant annet være realisering av avledet industri, utvikling av muligheter innen miljøteknologi/krav, bidrag til kompetansehevende aktiviteter og samarbeid med miljø i nordvest Russland innen disse områdene.
Selskapet kan bidra til utvikling ved å eie andeler i andre selskap eller bistå med utviklingssressurser til samme formål.

Barents Natur Gass
Barents NaturGass AS ble etablert 31. mars 2005. Etableringen var en direkte oppfølging av Barents NaturGass DA (selskap med delt ansvar) som var etablert i desember 2003. Ved ferdigstillelse av Snøhvitanlegget i Hammerfest, vil naturgass i form av LNG bli tilgjengelig i Nord-Norge, og dette var utgangspunktet for etablering av Barents NaturGass.
Selskapets visjon er å være det ledende selskapet i Barentsregionen for forsyningsløsninger, distribusjon og salg av naturgass.
Forretningsideen er å selge naturgass til sluttkundene og betjene naturgassen gjennom distribusjonskjeden. BNG skal bygge langsiktige verdier ved bygging og eierskap til naturgassinfrastruktur.

Sundom
Sundom is a little village with medieval ancestry, beautifully located at the the Gulf of Bothnia 30 km north of Luleå.
The village's conjunction to E4 is the current Sundomsvägen that actually is rests of the old original coastal road with ancestry from the middle of the 14th century and as constituted Sweden's conjunction with Finland and Russia.
