about_1There are currently extensive industrial investments throughout the entire Barents region. The investments in the Swedish part of the region are substancial. I northen Norway there are currently investments in excess of $10 billion through the Snövitprojekten I and II (the ’Snow White projects’) and in the Russian part the largest individual industrial investments in Northen Europe ever are under way. Over $40 billion will be invested in the next few years in the Murmansk area.
